Write a letter

Before you start

Your pseudonym is the only name we ever publish. Leave out your real name and details that could point to you, like your workplace, street, or school.
Your email stays private. The editor uses it only to ask you questions. It's never published and is deleted about 5 days after your letter is published or declined.
A person reads every letter before anything goes live. An outside AI service (Claude, by Anthropic) reads the letter's text first to flag spam and identifying details. Your email and pseudonym are never sent to it.
Letters aren't delivered to the president. They're written for the public.
